Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to KANETECH's public website, online forms, assessment requests, and related business communications. Work performed for a client may involve additional data practices governed by that client's written services agreement, instructions, and applicable privacy notices.
Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide, such as your name, business name, website, email address, telephone number, company characteristics, growth priorities, budget range, communications preferences, and the contents of messages or assessment requests. If you communicate with us, we may retain the correspondence and related business records.
We may also collect technical and usage information automatically, including IP address, browser and device information, operating system, approximate location, pages viewed, referring page, dates and times of visits, interactions with the website, and campaign or attribution parameters such as UTM values.
Please do not submit Social Security numbers, financial-account details, medical records, or other sensitive personal information through a general website or Growth Assessment field.
How we use information
We use information to review and respond to requests, evaluate whether our services may be a fit, schedule conversations, prepare proposals, provide and support services, send requested communications, maintain business records, measure and improve the website and marketing, protect against fraud or abuse, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations. We do not add assessment applicants to unrelated promotional text messaging without separate permission where required.
Google Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the website. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies and similar technologies, including cookies such as _ga, to distinguish users and sessions and to generate aggregated usage reports. Information may include website activity, browser and device details, approximate location, and referral information. We do not intentionally send the contents of assessment forms or other direct identifiers to Google Analytics.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. You may also learn about Google's data practices in the Google Privacy Policy and use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Disabling cookies may affect certain website features or the accuracy of measurement.
GoHighLevel and other service providers
We use GoHighLevel to manage contact and assessment information, customer relationship records, scheduling, follow-up, and related workflows. GoHighLevel processes information on our behalf as a service provider. We may also use providers for hosting, analytics, email, telephone and text communications, scheduling, security, spam prevention, document storage, and professional services. These providers receive information only as reasonably necessary to perform services for us and are subject to their own contractual and legal obligations. You can review the HighLevel Privacy Policy.
Phone, email, and text messages
When you request an assessment or contact us, you authorize KANETECH to respond by phone or email about that request. Providing a telephone number does not by itself enroll you in automated or promotional text messaging.
If you separately opt in to service-related text messages, KANETECH may send messages about your assessment, scheduling, or requested services. Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to discontinue applicable messages or HELP for help. We do not share mobile information or text-message opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may share that information with service providers that help us deliver the messages you requested.
How we disclose information
We do not sell the contact information you submit to us for money. We may disclose information to service providers described above; professional advisers; law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security; or a buyer, successor, or adviser in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business. We may also disclose information at your direction or with your consent.
Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to your request, providing services, maintaining business and consent records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and the reason we collected it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No internet transmission, service, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.
Your choices and privacy rights
You may ask to access, correct, or delete information you submitted, or to stop nonessential communications. Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection to certain processing. These rights may be subject to exceptions, identity verification, and legitimate recordkeeping requirements. To make a request, email thomas@kanetech.ai. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right available under applicable law.
International processing
KANETECH is based in the United States. We and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries, which may have different data-protection laws than your place of residence.

This website is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website.
Third-party links
The website may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, and KANETECH is not responsible for those practices.
